The Back-Up Plan is a romantic comedy centered on a woman, Zoe (Jennifer Lopez), who after years of dating, has decided waiting for the right one is taking too long. Determined to become a mother, she commits to a plan, makes an appointment and decides to go it alone. On the day of her artificial insemination, Zoe meets Stan (Alex O’Loughlin) – a man with real possibilities. Trying to nurture a budding relationship and hide the early signs of pregnancy becomes a comedy of errors for Zoe and creates confusing signals for Stan.

Amber Heard is a 23-year old American actress, who has graced the silver screens with movies like Never Back Down (alongside Sean Faris, Cam Gigandet) and Pineapple Express (alongside James Franco, Seth Rogen). In 2009, Amber Heard appeared in Zombieland where she played the character “406″ opposite Jesse Eisenberg. Heard also had a leading role in the thriller, The Stepfather opposite Penn Badgley, Sela Ward and Dylan Walsh.

Amber Heard will be a busy woman in 2010 with a few upcoming films. This year, you might want to watch out for this bombshell in a drama, The Joneses where she stars opposite Demi Moore and David Duchovny. Amber Heard also has an upcoming horror/thriller film, And Soon The Darkness, co-starring the gorgeous Odette Yustman. 

As an up-and-coming young actress, this starlet might have caught her biggest break by starring opposite Johnny Depp in the adventure/drama The Rum Diary - a film about a freelance journalist, Paul Kemp (Johnny Depp) who finds himself at a critical turning point in his life while writing for a run-down newspaper in the Caribbean. Paul is challenged on many levels as he tries to carve out a more secure niche for himself amidst a group of lost souls all bent on self-destruction. Other cast members include Aaron Eckhart and Richard Jenkins.

In the October 2009 issue of Teen Vogue, Amber describes her role as Johnny Depp’s love interest in the film,  as “the best experience of my life.”

I totally believe her!

For all you Iron Man fans, Marvel comics fans, or generally speaking, all you movie fans out there.. mark your calenders ‘coz Iron Man 2 will hit theatres on May 7th 2010! This time around Mickey Rourke will be joining the cast of Iron Man as the villain, Whiplash while Scarlett Johansson will be playing the role of Natasha Romanoff a.k.a the Black Widow.
