Pixar goes UP!
With Pixar, I have faith that it’s gonna be good. It’s like going over to one of my favorite eateries, Delicious, and no matter what I order, it’s good. I am rarely disappointed.. if at all.
So this May 2009, we will be anticipating another Pixar creation - UP, a story that revolves around a cranky 78-year old man, Carl Frederickson, who lifts off his home by using thousands of balloons, not knowing that a young boy scout is with him. Voice of Carl Frederickson is done by Edward Asner, and you will find the presence of voices by Christopher Plummer (narration) and John Ratzenberger as well, among others.
Check out the trailer below:
I’ve seen and read many reactions of how silly the story is, and how some expect this story not to do so well during it’s release this May. Some even said it’s downright illogical. LOL! If you wanna talk illogical, then might as well analyze every single childhood movie we’ve grown up watching. Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella.. These are modern fairytales too, so why debate on the logicality of it all??
Anyways, I hope everyone enjoys the trailer and come May, you can bring your children, nieces and nephews, little cousins or just yourself to the theater and enjoy the Pixar magical experience!
