Music Monday: SPOT
For my Music Monday selection, I have also chosen a song to represent my Soundtrack Pick of Today (SPOT). Call it killing two birds with one stone!
So my choice goes to Ryan Star’s “Last Train Home”. I first saw Ryan Star when he was one of the contestants of reality tv show, Rockstar: Supernova. Following the success of JD Fortune in Rockstar: Inxs, Ryan Star tried out to see whether he could cut it as the next rock star as a lead singer. Unfortunately though, he got booted out, but due to fans demands, he did come back to perform for week 11.
Anyways, the song “Last Train Home” is one of the songs listed in the movie soundtrack of P.S. I Love You, starring Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby, Freedom Writers, The Core, etc) and Gerard Butler (300, Butterfly on a Wheel, Reign of Fire, etc). I loved the movie - though I prefer the novel version, and I love the song as well.

@Angie: OMG! Me too!! I can’t believe they chose Lukas Rossi.. I mean, he’s good.. but… he’s just sooo not lead singer material, if you ask me! LOL! This one’s on his latest album only set to be released in 2010, if not mistaken. But since this one is on the P.S. I love You OST, you get to hear it now!
