The Education of Charlie Banks is an independent film which tells the story of a young man, Charlie Bank who was lives in a sheltered world and studying in an Ivy League College. His world turns upside down when an old bully he had an encounter with back in high school shows up unexpectedly at his campus. Mick, who has a violent past, soon wins over Charlie’s friends and his crush, Mary, with his charismatic ways.

Charlie then learns to face his fears and confront all the past and present unresolved issues that between him and Mick - with ruinous consequences.

The Education of Charlie Banks made its debut at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival and had won the Made In NY Narrative Award which was given to the best narrative film made in New York.

This film also marks the directorial debut of Fred Durst, lead man of Limp Bizkit. Yes, that’s right! And it seems that he totally rocked this film!
