Back in February, I had posted some casting rumors for the roles of Heidi and Jane of Volturri in Twilight’s second series installment, New Moon. It was said BACK THEN, that Annalynn Mccord from TV series, 90210, was in talks for the role of Heidi, the beautiful “fisher” (human bait for the Volturri vampires), while Dakota Fanning was in talks for the role of Jane Volturri.

Now it IS confirmed that Dakota Fanning is ON for the role of Jane of Volturri,  and Annalynn Mccord WILL NOT be playing for the role of the beautiful Heidi. Why?? She tells OK Magazine that “I am so disappointed, but it doesn’t look like it is going to happen with my schedule”. Ohh-kayyy.

Not to fret though because Canadian supermodel Noot Seear is auditioning for the role of Heidi and is in consideration with the studio for the role, according to Marc Malkin of E! Online.The blone 25-year old beauty is from Vancouver, Canada (where New Moon director, Chris Weitz has just begun shooting).

She has been modeling since the age of 13 and has been in various ad campaings including Vera Wang bridal, Pantene Pro-V, Calvin Klein’s CK One fragrance and can be seen on the runway of several designers like Balenciaga, Ralph Lauren, Alexander Wang and Lanvin.

We have established that she is a beauty, but can she act?? We’ll just have to wait and see what the casting director thinks!!

As for the casting of the Wolf Pack, it is confirmed by Summit Entertainment that Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman are the official members of the Wolf Pack ensemble. They will be joining Twilight’s Taylor Lautner pack member in New Moon. In the film, the Wolf Pack defends humans against vampires although they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family.
