Video Premiere: Outta Here (Esmée Denters)
Esmée Denters broke into the scene after being the first artist signed to Justin Timberlake’s new label imprint, Tenman. Hailing from Netherlands, the 21-year old singer first got noticed back in August 2006 while she was doing cover songs from popular artists such as Mariah Carey, One Republic, Brandy, etc. on YouTube.
Denters’ manager arranged for her to meet Justin Timberlake at one of his concerts and from there they signed the deal. Tennman Records announced that she would be opening for Timberlake at 10 venues during his 2007 European tour. According to several magazines she is the first unsigned singer in history to go directly from a personal YouTube posting to commercially performing on a major stage. - Wikipedia
Among others, she also was invited on The Oprah Winfrey Show during special edition show dedicated to YouTube. So this is Esmée Denters’ 3rd single, Outta Here from her album of the same name. It is set to be released in Europe on May 22nd, 2009.
