Real life BFFs, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are the stars of the latest Disney Channel Original Movie, entitled Princess Protection Program. The story is about one Princess Rosalina (Demi Lovato) who goes into hiding after her small country is being threatened by an evil dictator. She ends up at the home of Mason, an agent with the Princess Protection Program (which is a secret agency that protects distressed princesses). At Mason’s home, Princess Rosalina had to take on the role of an ordinary teenager with the help of Carter (Selena Gomez), Mason’s daughter.
Carter is an insecure tomboy who dreams of going out with the most popular guy in school. Rosie soon goes to school with Carter and quickly becomes the popular girl in school. The two forge a close friendship when Rosie helps Carter find the princess in her while Carter helps Rosie to experience the life of a normal teenager.
