Miley Cyrus Auditioned for Batgirl for Dark Knight Sequel??
Miley Cyrus had rumor mills going on overdrive regarding the fact that Miley has auditioned for the role of Batgirl for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Batman 3 a.k.a. Dark Knight’s sequel. According to Hollyscoop.com, the Hannah Montana star reportedly “stunned” Warner execs during her audition, even dressing for the part in a “full batsuit.”
“She was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself,” a source said of Cyrus’ audition. “The problem is some people aren’t really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it of.”
No no no! I refuse to believe this redonkulus rumor! I am holding on to Nolan’s promise that no “Robin” or the like (that includes you, Batgirl) will be included in his Batman films. So, that’s that.
The only thing that’s remotely believable when it comes to the Dark Knight sequel is when Gary Oldman let slip during the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con that Christopher Nolan would begin shooting Batman 3 next year with a 2011 release.
However, Oldman then retracted his comments which leaves us hangin’ basically. Well, that I can deal with. Miley as Batgirl in Nolan’s dark and edgy Batman films? Definitely not.

I’ve watched The Dark Knight, Shem! I agree that Heath Ledger is awesome, but it’s not enough to make me want to watch it again. Lol!
