Music Video: Send It On - Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and The Jonas Brothers
Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers are among 30 stars for Disney’s Friends For Change also known as Friends for Change: Project Green. This year long campaign features the stars in a 30 second to 2 minute public service announcements which air on Disney Channel.
These announcements explain how kids can help preserve the planet and tell them to go to the Friends for Change website to register and pledge which is sometimes said as “reg and pledge”. As part of the initiative, kids will have the ability to choose how Disney will invest $1 million in environmental programs.
Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers have collaborated on a song together called “Send It On”. The song was released to iTunes on August 11th. All proceeds from the digital purchases of the song will go to environmental charities throughout the world.
Check out the music video for “Send It On” which was officially released by Disney on August 14th, 2009!
I think this is a great idea because many young kids look up to these young Disney stars and think the world of them! Before you know it, your kids will be educating you instead on how to help the environment… and I think they made a beautiful song for a beautiful cause!!
