First Look: George Clooney in Jason Reitman’s ‘Up In The Air’ Teaser Trailer
Up In The Air is both written and directed by Oscar nominated Canadian filmmaker Jason Reitman (Thank You for Smoking and Juno). This film is based on Walter Kirn’s novel of the same name first published in 2001.
The film tells the story of Ryan Bingham (George Clooney), a corporate downsizing expert whose job it is to fly around the country and fire people from their jobs since their bosses can’t do it themselves. However, his cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
