Hot Pick: Aaron Johnson

Published by shemah at 5:31 am under Actors/Actresses, Hot Pick Edit This

aaron-perry-johnson.jpgAaron Johnson is a 19-year old British actor who has appeared on stage, television as well as feature films. One of his roles include playing the young Eisenheim in The Illusionist, starring Edward Norton and Jessica Biel.

Aaron Johnson is most well-known for his role as Robbie in the 2008 British comedy film, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging - a film which one of my best friends Debbs , highly recommends, by the way.

Aaron Johnson has also starred opposite Carey Mulligan in The Greatest, a film about a troubled teenage girl and a family that is trying to get over the loss of their son.

However, I’m sure we’ll be seeing a whole lot more of Aaron Johnson in his upcoming film, Kick-Ass, which he stars with Nicholas Cage and Chloe Moretz among others.

Aaron Johnson as Dave Lizewski in Kick-Ass

In Kick-Ass, Aaron Johnson plays Dave Lizewski,  an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. He then simply decides to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training. Check out the Kick-Ass teaser trailer!!

I think this is going to be a great film! I’m sure fans will absolutely love this! Oh and did I mention that Aaron Johnson also portrays John Lennon in the biopic, Nowhere Boy? Well, this boy is definitely NOT nowhere in fame-dom!!
