Lyndsy Fonseca is an American actress who mostly appears in television features. She has appeared in everything from House, Heroes, CSI, Phil of The Future, The Fish Tank.. and widely known for her role in Desperate Housewives (Season 4) as Dylan Mayfair and the “Daughter” in How I Met Your Mother.

However, 2010 might be the year for Lyndsy Fonseca as she has 4 feature films lined up.

Lyndsy Fonseca was cast in a minor role for in the comedy Hot Tube Time Machine starring  John Cusack , Chevy Chase, Crispin Glover, among others. Lyndsy will also be starring in John Carpenters’, The Ward - a thriller centered on an institutionalized young woman who becomes terrorized by a ghost.

Fort McCoy is also another project that the 22-year old actress is involved in - a drama set in a POW camp during WWII.

Lyndsy Fonseca will also be playing the role of Katie Deauxma in the highly-anticipated film adaptation, Kick-Ass, starring Nicholas Cage, Aaron Johnson , Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse , among others.  In Kick-Ass, Lyndsy will be playing the girl Dave Lizewski has a crush on. I think Lyndsy is a fairly good actress but sometimes some actresses seem to translate well on the small screen but not too good when they venture into feature films. So we’ll just have to wait and see..
